Straytechnologies (2006-present)
In my early research of digital performance, I discovered that most of the interfaces used by laptop-artists and digital-performers were based on legacy technologies and were ill-suited to the goals of these artists.Many performers even resort to the “QWERTY” keyboard, a tool coming from a business history and lacking all of the nuance and gesture required by any musician.
The project website and wiki currently serve as the news and release location for most of my development in this genre.
